We loved our stay at this resort. The cottages were charming and we had a great night's sleep on the comfortable bed. The kitchen was well-stocked with basic tools and the refrigerator and microwave were convenient. The dock and patio areas provided a relaxing spot to enjoy the sunset and watch the birds and boats. The staff was friendly and accessible if we needed anything. There were neat places to eat nearby and we especially enjoyed the fish restaurant at the end of the road.

We enjoyed having our own building with a comfortable bed and a well-stocked kitchen. The dock and patio areas were perfect for relaxing, bird-watching, and watching the sunset over the trees.

There were a few maintenance issues in the cottage that made us feel uneasy. The lights above the bar area in the kitchen didn't work, and the table lamps were too dim for reading.

We had a wonderful stay at Pirates Pointe Resort. It was just me and my 10-year-old granddaughter, and we loved our quiet and clean cottage. The owners, Tammy and Tom, were incredibly nice and clearly took pride in their property. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the kitchen and bath were well equipped. We enjoyed relaxing on the lovely deck/dock area by the Manatee River. We will definitely come back!

As a solo traveler, I instantly felt at home at this quiet and friendly resort. The cottage was spacious and had everything I needed, including toiletries and pool towels. The bed linen was incredibly soft, making for a comfortable sleep. The free bag of ice provided each day was a lovely touch.

pirates pointe resort in ruskin was even better than our previous stay! the updated cottage was lovely, and the staff was so helpful and friendly. we loved the serene river view and the "keys" atmosphere. the outdoor areas were comfortable, and we enjoyed cocktails on the dock while the boys fished. we can't wait to go back!

Bugs were a nuisance.

This hidden gem on the Manatee River was perfect for our relaxing getaway. With 16 charming cottages and activities like fishing, kayaking, and canoeing, we were able to fully unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The friendly staff went above and beyond, and our beautifully remodeled room with a bedroom, living room, and full kitchen made us feel right at home. The heated pool with a waterfall was a great touch, and the location was convenient with nearby stores and restaurants. a cozy and excellent choice for a tranquil stay.
